“She was the only doula I interviewed who listened to me and allowed me to have my own birth experience. Other doulas I spoke with wanted me to birth how they saw fit. Additionally, she was able to pivot from helping me, to managing my husband easily with no interruption of care.”

Hi and welcome!
My name is Megan Stark and I am a certified childbirth educator with Lamaze International, Certified Doula with DONA International, ICAN Chapter Leader for North Charlotte, N.C., Orgasmic Birth™ Facilitator, and lover of all things birth and breastfeeding! I began my journey into the field of childbirth in 2013, and have since been working as an educator, advocate and blogger for world renowned educator, doula trainer, film maker, and birth advocate, Debra Pascali-Bonaro.
I’ve assisted Debra in the creation of her online childbirth course, doula/birthworker retreats, and presentation/research updates. I’ve also had the opportunity to work and learn from world birth leaders Ibu Robin Lim, Dr. Sarah Buckley, Ina May Gaskin, Gina Kirby and Gail Tully.
It’s been an honor and a privilege to be in the presence of an ever growing list of birth workers who support evidence based childbirth, the rights of childbearing women, and infant rights. I love teaching, sharing and supporting pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and postpartum as a doula and educator. I am also the proud mom of a little boy who continues to encourage me to learn and grow as an advocate, mother, and person. I have a strong desire to help women empower themselves in their birth and parenting choices using their intuition, research and education.
I’d love to support you in learning how to increase your own confidence to birth with power, love and respectful support.
